Bennu Coffee

Founded in 2009 by Steve and Stephanie Williams, Bennu Coffee is an independently owned 24-hour coffee shop with locations in east and central Austin. Bennu offers high-quality, fair trade coffee and a variety of locally sourced provisions. The coffee menu includes seven signature gourmet mochas, individual French press service in which guests can enjoy fresh, rotating organic beans and Bennu’s acclaimed cold brew – the inspiration and original recipe for Chameleon Cold Brew.

Micklethwait Craft Meats

Founded in 2012 by pitmaster Tom Micklethwait (the “th” is silent), Micklethwait Craft Meats (MCM) offers oak-fired Central Texas barbecue served from a vintage Comet trailer nestled in the heart of East Austin. Named by Texas Monthly as one of the “Top Ten Barbecue Joints in Texas”, Micklethwait  prides itself on serving high-quality smoked meats, inventive sausages, made-from-scratch sides and fresh baked goods.

The Contemporary Austin 2019 Art Dinner

The 2019 Art Dinner celebrates and supports The Contemporary Austin’s exhibition program, including projects at Laguna Gloria and the Jones Center on Congress Avenue. The sixth annual Art Dinner features hand-crafted cocktails, a seated dinner, an art auction led by Sotheby’s and a fashionable after-party – all held on the beautiful fourteen-acre lakeside grounds of Laguna Gloria.

Mosaic Sound Collective

Mosaic Sound Collective is a 25,000 sq. ft. campus located in East Austin providing affordable space and professional services for the creative community. Mosaic is a one-stop resource hub connecting artists to the tools, skills and relationships necessary to support a sustainable career. Mosaic’s sustainability model works through a combination of creative industry tenants, Mosaic-owned revenue centers, and collaborative relationships with outside organizations.


Texas Folklife

Texas Folklife (TXF) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to presenting and preserving the diverse cultures and living heritage of the Lone Star State. TXF is designated by the National Endowment for the Arts as the official folk and traditional arts organization for the state.  Since 1984, TXF has honored traditions passed down within communities, explored the importance of traditional arts in contemporary society and celebrated the state’s vibrant heritage.

NEST Modern

Founded by best friends John Allison and Doug Galloway in 2003, NEST Modern offers high-quality home furnishings for every budget. NEST boasts a 5,200 sq. ft. showroom on South Congress Ave. that features a hand-picked collection of modern customizable furniture from around the globe. The experienced NEST team offers residential and commercial design services and prides itself on providing friendly, non-pretentious customer service.

POP Cats

POP Cats is an annual convention celebrating cats, art and pop culture. The interactive event, held in Austin and Portland, offers educational and entertaining programming, unique artists and vendors, and plenty of adorable felines. Founded by siblings, Edgar Alexander and Johana Flores, POP Cats offers a fun-filled ‘cat universe’ intended for people of all ages, cats, cat lovers and the cat-curious.

The Big Squeeze

The 13th annual Big Squeeze Accordion Contest and takes place in ten communities across Texas, highlighting the state’s talented young accordion players in four traditional Texas accordion music genres: conjunto, polka, Cajun and zydeco. The Big Squeeze programming begins Feb. 9 and culminates on May 11 with a festive live concert featuring the statewide finalists at the Big Squeeze Finals and Concert at the Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, Texas.
